Hi Mix Concrete as a supplier of concrete takes no responsibility for the following:
Iron staining, colour change or inconsistencies with aggregate colour and foreign materials. Aggregates are a natural product and therefore chemical and aesthetic qualities cannot be guaranteed.
Colour change to cement due to a change in the raw materials in the manufacturing of cement which Hi Mix Concrete have no control over.
Aesthetic suitability and structural integrity of the mix if water, chemicals and / or powders are added to the mix on site at the request of the concreter, pump operator or any other agent representing the owner of the property.
Aesthetic suitability and structural integrity of the mix if the concrete is not cured in accordance with correct Australian standards and guidelines.
Aesthetic suitability and structural integrity of the mix if inappropriate and / or poor standards of workmanship by the concreter or the concrete pump operator.
We advise that all concrete shrinks as it hardens and this can result in cracking. In order to minimise the amount and severity of cracking, it is advised that you contact your structural engineers so that they are able to assess soil condition, slab design, thickness, reinforcement and joining details to ensure the design reflects the expected outcome. Weather conditions also play a major role in the development of early cracks.
